Good to see! People with both passion and expertise in environmental restoration are hard to find so it is important to keep them safe.
I am just preparing my presentation on “Motivating Your Bushcare Group” for the BCC Habitat Brisbane Induction Day – http://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au.
One of the things I really drum in is safe work practices. Nothing de-motivates (and directly impacts on productivity) a volunteer faster than finishing the day with a damaged back from bending over or using tools incorrectly.
