Planting Project in Yellowtail CRM, Wyoming

The CSR WY Crew recently finished installing 500 Silver Buffaloberry shrubs (provided by CSR’s nursery in Rifle, CO) and 90 Cottonwood trees in the Yellowtail CRM area for the WY Game and Fish near Lovell, Wyoming. Vexar (compostable tree protectors) and biodegradable weed barriers around each plant were included in the installation.

Ruby Pipeline Restoration

The last shipment of native plants destined for the Ruby Pipeline Restoration project made their way to Oregon last week. 42,000 ponderosa pine, mountain mahogany, and bitterbrush arrived for planting, which brings the total to approximately 125,000 native plants shipped and installed across Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and Oregon this spring.  This in addition to the 125,000 plants [...]

College of Western ID Native Plant Sale

CSR and the College of Western Idaho’s Horticulture Program put together a native plant sale this past weekend. CSR donated half of the proceeds to the Horticulture program to help make informational signs for their native plant garden.
