…..It is truly impressive just how many kids in this area have submitted posters, essays and grants for the Earth Day contests. The hardest part about putting the posters online is the fact that we simply cant put them all on here. They are all great, and everyone that participated should be proud. Only a few more days until the big event, remember all profits from the event will be returned to the community, we would love to fund all of the grants that have been entered.

…..It’s still not too late to enter your own poster for the contest, just bring it by the CSR-inc office before the end of the day tomorrow.

…..Today is Earth day, the day when everyone should take a moment and think about their lives and the impacts that they are making, good and bad. But above all go outside, enjoy life on our beautiful planet.

…..Here are some more posters, some of my favorite so far. This is the voice of the next generation of Americans. Remember, if everyone makes a few small changes in their own lives we can start to change the world. I hope everyone goes outside to enjoy Earth day. Remember we still only have one planet.

…..Tomorrow is Earth Day, and if your anything like me the shear amount of negative environmental headlines these days can make it seem like there is little hope of turning things around. If you do feel anything like this i have got the prescription for you. I got a stack of posters and essays today from the school kids in Burley. Looking through them made me realize that these young kids not only understand way more environmental issues then i did at their age, but they are already thinking of solutions. Reading some of these essays made me remember that the fight to save our beautiful little planet is certainly not over yet. There is a whole new generation of kids is being raised right now with a day-to-day understanding of the climate and the ways we impact the planet. Way to go kids!

…..CSR, Inc. is starting to get poster entries for the Earth Day poster contest. We have found a number of business in the area that have contributed both cash and prizes for our poster contest, essay contest, as well as several community grants of $250. …..Well CSR made a good showing at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and made a valiant effort to get people excited about our upcoming event EARTH DAY. Lance, Julie, Mikal, Joelene, Kevin and myself (complete with cape and Earth Flag) spread the word. We passed out flyers about Earth Day and reminded people to reuse, reduce and recycle. Good times had by all!
